Feb. 22nd Day #1

Ok so Prom, let's talk abotu Prom. So big an event is Prom that there are moies solely centered around it. The dress. The limo. The music. The after party. It's the culmination of years and months of hard work and social adventures. My senior prom is in 52 days. I need to buy a dress, lose weight, and find a date in just 52 days. Oh adn did I mention I have IB exams. AUGH!!!
This blog is a way for me to keep on track of my weight gain and loss. First I'll start off every entry the same, with a causual greeting and information on my mood. Then I'll get into what I ate and the amount of excercise I did that day. Well enoguh blabbing about it let's do it.

Day 1:

Greetings fellow dieters

Mood: Anxious

Hunger level: normal/average

Total Food Intake:

Brekfast:

1 egg sunny side up cooked with butter (ughh need to remind my mom not to!) (90 calories)
1 slice of sourdough bread (whole wheat or grain is better for weight loss) toasted with stramberry jelly on it. (277 calories)

Lunch:

1 whole wheat ham and cheese sandwhich (no mayo or mustard) (260 calories)
3 or 4 celery sticks (8 calories)
Fat Free Milk (90 calories)

Snack:
Miso Soup 2/3 cup (35 calories)
Rice 1/4 cup (170 calories)

Dinner:
1 Subway veggie delight (230 calories)
4 slices of pizza (1,192 calories)

total intake 2,363

Excercise log:
30 minutes of eleptical machine (-250 calories)
30 minutes of light weight lifting (-74 calories)
1 hour of Zumba (-468 calories)
45 min. of Cycling (-557 calories)

Total intake: -1,349

Therfore net caloric intake is 1,014

Okay so let's talk logistics. I am a high school senior who is usually busy everyday afterschool. I have mountains of homework and tests to study for. So Here's my schedule durring the week I usually go to bed at 7 or 8 p.m. then I wake either at 2 or 3 a.m. and complete homeowrk or study. Then at 4:10 to 5:00 a.m. I head out to Gold's Gym to hit the eliptical for 30 minutes. Then weight lift and work all my muscles for another 30 minutes. I go home eat breakfast (eggs usually). Take a shower. Get dressed. Go to school by 7:15 and get to school by 7:30. Then I have class from 8 - 4:15 however if it's a 'b' day then I have an off block for an hour and half and I usually go home or work on homework. From now on that off blovk will be an hour of excercise. Ok so TodayI followed that same schedule except that since it's Friday and I got a group of girls to go with me I headed for the gym. I was there from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wow talk about good work achieved. So feeling triumphant I bought subway for my self (was so exahusted and hungry from not having eaten in hours ate it on ride home.) However when I got home my mother, who is the worst crutch for weight had bought pizza for us. UGHHH, and then she made me feel bad for wasting food so I ate some. But I have no control so I ate four slices. And in minutes my workout achievments faded. Well hopefully I can avoid eating with my mom tomorrow.
